Receives, marks, washes, finishes, checks, and wraps articles in laundry. Classifies and marks incoming laundry with identifying code number, by hand, or using machine. Tends washing machine, extractor, and tumbler to clean and dry laundry. Finishes laundered articles, using hand iron, pressing machine, or feeds and folds flatwork on flatwork ironing machine. A combination of one to three months of directly related training and/or experience is typically required for carrying out the responsibilities for this job.
